About Me

Hey there!

I’m Eleni! I’ve been a horse fanatic as long as I can remember, from reading every horse book at my library as a kid (yes, really) and collecting model horses, to my formative experiences with horses at a local rescue facility. I’ve always loved these wonderful creatures and still pinch myself over how lucky I am to work with them as an adult.

Over the years, I’ve had many opportunities to play with lots of unique horses. I’ve ridden western and competed in local shows (trail classes are my personal favorite), taken jumping lessons, conditioned with endurance riders, and spent many hours in the dressage sandbox. I’ve also worked with younger horses and always enjoy the process of teaching while learning from them. I’m especially passionate about intentional, supportive groundwork that builds connection between horse and human. When I’m not working with clients, you can find me sitting in the field with my horse or playing at liberty in the arena. I’m always striving to learn more about these amazing animals so I can do the best job supporting them and their humans.

Becoming an Equine Bodyworker

I became interested in equine bodywork one summer after meeting an equine massage therapist and watching her work. Her ability to help horses in such a gentle manner was beautiful to watch, and the difference in their temperament and movement after her session was distinct. I didn’t know the job existed, and I just had to give it a shot!

My education began at a Bowen school working on people, then dogs, and lastly horses. Along with my Bowen certificates, I’ve taken massage classes, a barefoot hoof care course, spent many hours on continuing education, and interned with a wonderful equine cranial-sacral therapist. I’m passionate about helping horses relax and restoring balance to their bodies through different modalities and simple exercises I teach their owners.

My Horse

Dante is an 11 year old Andalusian and my best four legged friend. I officially purchased him as a 7 year old in early 2021, but we’ve been friends since he was about 2. He’s one of my greatest teachers and my gateway to a better way of training and handling horses. He’s the horse in my business logo; his little “thumbs up” marking was too iconic not to feature.
